Anyone interested in applying for a new or renewal passport, or taking their Notary Public oath, may visit us at any time from 9:30am to 2:00pm. See our event flyers for more details!

Please be advised that we are not able to accept cash as payment and passport photos will not be available on-site during this event.

September is National Passport Awareness Month!

In recognition of National Passport Awareness Month, Morris County Clerk Ann F. Grossi has announced that our office will offer free passport photos from September 5, 2019 through September 30, 2019. If you come in and need a passport photo for an application you are submitting through our office that day, you can get it free.

You should apply sooner than later if you are expecting to travel in the near future and do not have a current passport. We also recommend that your passport should be up-to-date if you ever have to travel out of the country on short notice. Make sure to check the expiration date to make sure it will not be expiring while you are traveling. Many countries require six months of validity.

To obtain a passport, it is necessary to have proof of United States citizenship, your social security number, a passport photo 2×2 inches in size, and current identification, such as a driver’s license or government identification.

Parents who are submitting a passport application for a child under the age of 16 are required to appear together or to submit additional documentation.

Clerk Grossi recommends that residents contact the Passport Office prior to appearing to confirm that you have the proper documentation and payments.

Click here for more information about the required documentation or call us at 973-285-6161.
